My raw food journal from Jan 22nd 2010

Jan 22nd 2010
Didnt feel hungry til 11.30 :o :o so for breakfast had 2 raw choc brownies and smoothie. Smoothie consists of coconut, orange, apple, banana, grapes, frozen pineapple and frozen raspberries :D

Got left over salad for lunch and then for tea we are having courgette noodles with arabiata sauce. Yum!

Its worth it if only for the washing up :D instead of masses of dirty saucepans, frying pans and greasy meat tins / grill pans I only have food processors, cutlery, plates and plastic boxes. Yippee!! :D

We are planning to have something cooked at the end of the Jan challenge, either a pizza or chinese just to see what it tastes like now and what the effect is on us :)

We have read that your taste buds get replaced every 150 days so if you abstain from a food for that long your taste buds experience it differently and you are less likely to continue with a craving. Dont know how you tell when your last set of taste buds were replaced tho
;D

Jan 23rd 2010
Had cherries and strawberries and a banana for breakfast, having orange and pinapple and watermelon smoothie for lunch (and finish off the brownies :D ) and then for tea we have cabbage wraps with cucumber strips, grated carrot, sliced red peppers with a peanut sauce and salsa :D :D yummy

Jan 24th 2010
Sunday weigh in ....... 10stone 10lbs Woohoo! lost another 2lbs in last week :D :D my thighs actually feel like they are getting thinner too :D

For breakfast today I had 2 banana leather wraps with strawberry and date puree filling

I am going to attempt to take the dogs for a walk and then will have a smoothie of watermelon, pineapple, banana, apple, grapes, strawberries and frozen raspberries. For tea we have pizza! Grant has been working on it since yesterday, the base is made from flax seeds, celery, onion, carrots, garlic, and tomatoes that is dehydrated for a few hours then nut cheese spread on that then marinara sauce on that and toppings of mushrooms and pineapple and then the whole thing is dehydrated for a few more hours. Yummy!
